How to Make Tea With a Coffee Pot
Making Tea Without a Tea Pot
Introduction:
If you are of English
abstraction you probably love your tea. There are
times when you may want to make a cup of tea using
loose tea leaves or tea bags and you don’t have a
tea pot. All is not lost. You really don’t need a
tea pot to make tea from loose tea leaves. You can
use your coffee pot or coffee maker to make tea.
It’s just as efficient at making tea as it is
making coffee. After all, the coffee pot really
doesn’t care how you use it, it will function the
same.
How to make tea with a coffee
pot:
-
Although you can use a
regular coffee percolator to make tea we use a
regular drip coffee maker. Just fill the glass
carafe with water and pour into the water
reservoir just like you would do to make
coffee.
-
Remove and rinse clean the
filter basket of all coffee grounds.
-
Select your choice of
loose tea leaves or teabags. Place a filter in
the basket and add the tea into the filter
basket.
-
Place the filter basket
into its compartment and close the compartment.
-
Turn the coffee maker on.
Use approximately one table spoon or one teabag
per one cup of water.
-
When the tea has stopped
brewing let it steep a few minutes and enjoy
your tea.
That is all there is to making
tea with a coffee pot.
