The Ideal Animal Proof Trash Cans

Animal Proof Trash Cans

Introduction:

During my working career I most often drove to work very early in the morning. Along the way I frequently saw trash cans set out at the curb to be collected by the trash man that some animal had gotten into and trash was spread all over the street and yard in front of the owners house. I often wonder why those homeowners never purchased animal proof trash cans rather than being confronted with cleaning up the mess that’s created by having loose lids and poor quality trash cans.

There are several animal proof trash cans on the market that will keep out just about any kind of animal including persistent bears. They are metal trash cans made from heavy-duty steel or heavy-duty plastic that are just about indestructible. They are often referred to as bear proof trash cans.

The bear poof trash can is just about the strongest trash can on the market. It cannot be torn apart even by the strongest bear. But whatever trash can you choose to purchase if it is even slightly overfilled whereby the lid is not secured tightly an animal can get into it if it there is a small gap in the lid.

Most trash collector contractors such as Waste Management provides trash collection containers to their customers. For the most part, they are extremely rugged trash containers but they are not animal proof if they are over filled or the lid does not fit tightly.

The ideal animal poof trash can is available in three sizes; 95 gallon, 64 gallon and 32 gallons. The cost can run anywhere from $ 75 toTrash can over $200, depending on the brand and where you buy it. They are of superb quality and will last for decades which make them a wise investment. They are equipped with a hinged top and rubber wheels to provide easy maneuvering, even when filled to the brim. These trash cans come in different colors that fit in any neighborhood. A good quality trash can also have a locking mechanism on the lid to prevent easy access by animals and prevents the wind from blowing them open.

Nothing is more unsightly than trash strewed along the side of the street because animals have gotten into them for an early morning feast. This can be prevented by simply purchasing an animal proof trash can.
