How to Organize a RoomOrganizing a Messy Room
Introduction: It is very easy for any living space to become messy, especially a small room. It may take hours to clean up a messy room but it only takes minutes to have it looking like it was part of a wind tunnel. This is especially true if you have speedy-on-the-go teenagers. Here are a few tips that will help you have an organized room that is always neat. How to organize a room: The first thing you need to do is to find out why a room becomes a cluttered pigsty. Usually, there are three or more main culprits as to why a bedroom becomes messy. Most likely it is because clothes are left lying around or paper lying on the floor. Look around and keep track of what the main source of the mess is and create a simple plan to eliminate it. Create a plan by writing down where you think all your clutter should go. It should be stored somewhere with a good storage capacity and conveniently located. If the items are small you can use a small decorative box that will go with the bedroom decor. If the items are large purchase a large cardboard box to store them in. Place all your items inside their appropriate storage space. Make sure you have enough space for your current important items and for any future items that you will need to store. In addition, keep a trash can handy. Chances are most of your clutter is just worthless trash and will be thrown away. Once the room is clean and organized keep it clean. This sounds easy but is probably the hardest thing to do. It will require a lot of willpower to put things where they belong. Remember, we don’t create clutter because we want it; we do it because it is easy. It’s much easier to just throw a pair of pants or a t-shirt on the floor of a bedroom than placing it in the dirty clothes bin. We are all guilty of having dirty rooms at one point in our life. However, keeping a clean and organized looking room is simple enough if you just follow these basic tips. It will not be easy at first but eventually you will save yourself hours and maybe even days in clean up time. You will enjoy the space and appearance so much more. Related articles:
