Curved Shower Rods

Curved Shower Rods Gives Your Bathtub More Room

Overview: If you have a shower in your bathroom the chances are pretty good that you also have a straight shower rod and shower curtain is suppose to contain the water in the bathtub, but it doesn't.

The most annoying thing about shower curtains is they do not provide the elbow room you would like while taking a shower. Invariably your elbows stick to the shower curtain and then the curtain partly opens letting the shower spray on the bathroom floor. There is a solution to this aggravating situation.

Curved Shower RodIf you have traveled recently and stayed in a hotel you most likely have experienced taking a shower where the shower curtain rod is curved rather than straight.  The curved shower curtain rod, sometimes called a bowed shower curtain rod, eliminates the annoying problem of sticking shower curtains and getting water on the outside of the bathtub. The curved shower rod is the smartest bathroom invention ever. The shower curtain rod curves to the outside of the bathtub providing approximately 20% more elbow room in the shower.

There are many different styles of curved shower rods and bowed shower curtains. You should have no difficulty matching your bathroom decor. The curved rod is installed exactly the same way as the straight rod. Some are screwed in place and others are held in place simply by the friction created by adjusting the expansion rod tightly.

You can find a curved shower rod and a variety of curved shower curtains at your local home improvement supply center or bathroom supply center. The rods come in different styles and finishes to fit your décor. The DIY homeowner or handy-man can install the new shower rod and shower curtain in less than an hour.
