The Best Coffee Maker

Make Great Coffee

Can you imagine what modern civilization would do without coffee, I can’t. The modern industrial world would probably tolerate going without oil before it ever give up coffee. It wakes us up in the morning and refreshes us during work breaks. So why not have the best cup of coffee imaginable made with the best coffee brewer.

Coffee as a beverage has come a long way since the 15th century. It first was discovered in the region of modern Ethiopia and spread rapidly through the Middle Eastern Arab cultures. During the 17th century it made its way to Europe via the tradesmen of Amsterdam.

Since being introduced in the western culture it has played a crucial role as the European culture developed, although it was slow coming to England. Tea was the preferred drink of the English and is still highly competitive with coffee throughout the old English Empire.

Coffee is an energizer beverage because of its caffeine content. Without a doubt it is the early morning wake up drink for most of western civilization. Excessive high levels of caffeine can introduce a euphoric high and that is why it was used in religious ceremonies in the in the 15th century.

We all know that coffee comes from the roasted coffee beans of the coffee plant.

Most of the world’s coffee comes from Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia today. The coffee beans are harvested and sent to many different countries for processing into the coffee grounds used in most households. There are many different ways coffee is prepared but the most common is drip brewed coffee.

Drip brewing, or filtered coffee, involves pouring hot water over the roasted coffee grounds and the mixture filtered by a paper filter. As the water drips through the coffee it absorbs the oils and essences of the coffee. The grounds are retained in the filter while the liquid drips into a carafe or pot.

There are many different drip coffee makers on the market. Some are inexpensive and do not get the most in terms of flavor out of the coffee grounds. The more expensive coffee makers do a great job at brewing coffee and manage to get all the flavor from the grounds.

As an avid coffee lover I have been looking over all the coffee makers, searching for one that was not too large or too small, eight or ten cup would be perfect. Unfortunately there are so many different products on the market it is difficult to chose the right one. The old Mr. Coffee just doesn’t do the job! It doesn’t make great coffee.

To my surprise I received a new coffee maker forCoffee maker Christmas. It is a Cuisinart DCC-2750. It makes 10 cups of coffee and stores it in a stainless steel thermal carafe which lasts me all day. Now there is no need to have to make coffee three or four times a day. After the the brewing is finished it automatically shuts off. It also contains a charcoal water filter and a gold tone filter.

The Cuisinart is the best coffee maker I have ever owned and I highly recommend it to all you coffee lovers. You can program it so you can have a fresh cup of coffee just as you roll out of bed.
